Summer: Swimming Plan
School age children will make use of the Mt. Horeb Aquatic Center for swimming and water fun approximately two afternoons each week (more or less dependent of weather).Village Employed Life Guards and Hearts & Hands staff monitors the children.Children are restricted to swimming areas within their ability (i.e. non-swimmers, intermediate swimmers, advanced swimmers and divers.)Parents will determine the level of swimming ability on the Hearts & Hands Pool Permission form.If necessary, Hearts & Hands Inc. staff may restrict a child to a lower swim level.
Hearts & Hands Childrenís Center will assist young children in growing to be respectful of self, others and the Earth. We offer the children cultural learning that avoids stereotypes and which serves to build understanding and appreciation of diversity.Diversity is not a theme or special event but rather an every day reality.
